NZIC facilitators are all credentialed coaches with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and engage in regular coaching supervision. The "Coaching for Transformation" Coaching Education Program is accredited by the ICF, and designed for people who aspire to become confident and successful coaches.

Anna de Valk - Education Lead,
ICF Credentialed Coach, Educator, Mentor & Supervisor

  

Anna has worked with adults as a group facilitator since 2003, with the past ten years dedicated to training coaches. As an experienced facilitator and trainer, Anna utilises her knowledge of adult learning and group dynamics to create the optimum conditions for people to grow and develop. She naturally empowers people to believe in themselves and discover what they are capable of.

"As an educator of coaches and a coach mentor and supervisor, I’m passionate about supporting coaches to integrate robust coaching skills with enhanced self-awareness to become confident and practiced. At NZIC we believe in delivering excellence in education within a supportive and safe environment, and with a strong focus on practical and real-world experience.

As a Leadership, Career, and Wellbeing Coach, I support people to navigate work-related challenges that may affect their performance or overall wellbeing. I am an experienced, empathetic and trustworthy coach with a genuine interest in people thriving and living fulfilled lives."

First-hand experience of entering tertiary education as an adult has provided Anna with a realistic understanding of the complexities of adult learning and development. She is attuned to the challenges of reinventing one's career path and has successfully established and managed two businesses as a self-employed entrepreneur. She has a calm and centred demeanour with genuine curiosity and compassion for people. 

Anna's background prior to coaching was in career development within corporate, education, government, private, and non-profit sectors, with a focus on consulting, mentoring, and coaching.

Espie Ford - Lead Facilitator, ICF Credentialed Coach, Educator & Mentor

 

Espie Ford works with Executives, People Leaders, and Individuals. She supports people to develop essential qualities of leadership and create change that uplifts and empowers in both personal and professional life. Espie brings insights from the latest neuroscience research to help her clients establish new cognitive and behavioural patterns for sustainable and transformative change.

Through exploration and discovery, she supports her clients to evolve their strengths, gain clarity on direction, and design personalised plans to move forward with 'who' they want to be, and 'what' they want to achieve. 

Espie brings a background in development, people management, and business development management in the IT Sector.

Espie is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

 

Maggie Cruz, ICF Credentialed Coach & Educator

  

Maggie has worked with adults as a therapeutic social worker, trainer and group facilitator in a variety of settings since 2010. As an experienced coach and facilitator Maggie uses her knowledge and experience to inspire her clients towards increased self-awareness while accomplishing their personal and professional goals.

Through discovery and curiosity, Maggie enjoys helping her clients utilise their strengths to face challenges with more confidence and perseverance. She uses her empathetic skills and calm nature to create trust and engagement with her clients.

Maggie brings a background in social justice and has in recent years embarked on a Bachelor of Laws study. Her background in social work and coaching alongside her legal studies supports her in creating a valuable and trustworthy space for her clients.

Maggie is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), and a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Jules Sim, ICF Credentialed Coach & Educator

  

Jules works with professionals who want to bring the best of themselves to work and everyday life, be more effective in their attitudes and approach to situations and relationships and have increased confidence and greater clarity.

As a solution-focused coach, Jules enables people to tap into their talents and strengths, build resilience, improve their productivity, and in turn, become more effective, efficient, engaged, and achieve their desired outcomes. 

Jules has a natural, self-confident approach and insight to coaching. She is light-hearted, with a quirky personality and a sense of humour that creates an environment where people feel comfortable sharing and engaging.

A life-long learner, having recently completed a Master of Conflict and Terrorism Studies, Jules is adept in applying focus and resilience to navigate work and life. Her teaching and coach training experience along with her experience from environments such as project management, engineering, and professional theatres, enable Jules to bring a unique blend of skills to coaching.   

Jules is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), and a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
